Kids' City

Nick Mason - Chair

Kids' City is an amazing organisation, with a brilliant and experienced team delivering quality clubs for children. I've been Chair since 2014 and have the pleasure of working with a dynamic group of trustees.
Apart from time with Kids' City, I am usually busy being a parent or advising on taxation.

Corinne Aldridge

I joined Kids’ City as a trustee over 7 years ago because as a parent I know the importance of ensuring good after school care for children and their parents.
Kids’ City through its staff provides stimulating and supportive care in its clubs and I am keen to support its work.
Outside my role as a trustee, I am a partner in a solicitors’ firm, Kingsley Napley specialising in employment law.

Yvonne Johnson

I have been a Trustee of Kid’s City for over 7 years and seen the organisation develop and grow into a fantastic childcare provision. I was a working mum myself and knew how hard it was to find reliable and stimulating after school care, and so I am very pleased to be supporting such a great team.
I am an experienced accountant, working for many years with retail and wholesale companies and enjoy using the skills I have to advise the Board of Trustees. When I am not busy with work I love to hop on my bike and head for the Surrey Hills.

Anna Penfold

I work for leading global talent consultancy Russell Reynolds Associates. I focus on the recruitment and development of senior HR leaders across all industries and leads this practice worldwide for the firm. I have spent my career to date working in executive search, talent assessment and management and, for much of the past few decades, have focused on supporting the HR community.
I advise on HR, engagement, culture and recruitment-related issues in my role with Kids’ City.
I live and work in London and have a busy home life with three very active boys. Having being brought up in an extended family entirely made up of teachers, I have a strong connection to education. I love getting into the great outdoors, whether on a bike, a motorbike, running or anything else that helps balance out the busy-ness of the working week!

Nick Soulsby

I am a Chartered Accountant with over 30 Years' experience. During this time I have worked in a variety of fields, latterly financial services.
I am also trustee of a charity established to assist commercial pilots who have been adversely affected by the impact of Covid on the airline industry.

Sharon Tynan

I have been working in the third sector for over twenty years at both a regional and national level in a broad range of organisations. I’m currently campaigning for Age-friendly city status at Age UK London.
I got involved with Kids' City initially as a parent user and although my children have now left primary school I have continued to support Kids’ City as a board member bringing my voluntary and community sector experience to the table.

Karen Wilson

It has been a great privilege to be a part of the tremendous journey Kids’ City has been on over the last 7 years.
Having been educated in numerous schools in different parts of the UK and internationally, I appreciate how much children can gain socially from the activities Kids’ City provides. The commitment of the staff to providing the best for every child still amazes me.
Outside of work and being a trustee I enjoy travel (pre Covid) and spending time with my nine godchildren.
